NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
That on Tuesday, September 15, 2020, at some time after 3:00 p.m. at the Olmsted County Government Center, located at 151 4th St. SE, Rochester, Minnesota, in the Council/Board Chambers, the Olmsted County Board will conduct a public hearing to consider the following:
Olmsted County Land Use Plan Amendment #O2020-003LUPA by Marion Township to redesignate approximately 26 acres from Resource Protection to Resource Protection-Potential Suburban land use designation. The properties are located in Section 11 of Marion Township, east of 60th Ave SE, South of 10th St SE and along Highway 14 E. The property is approximately 2 miles east of the City of Rochester.
Due to the current federal, state and local public health emergency declarations regarding COVID-19, this public hearing will be held via electronically as permitted by Minnesota Statutes Section 13D.021. The following weblink www.co.olmsted.mn.us/ma will provide members of the public a link to submit written comments and questions as well as a Board Live link to attend and participate in the public hearing remotely. All persons are invited to submit written comments prior to the hearing and attend via Board Live. Physical attendance at the public hearing shall be restricted to a total of 10 persons due to COVID-19 health concerns.
