Artaria String Quartet will perform Wednesday in Chatfield.

CHATFIELD — Artaria String Quartet will perform music by Beethoven at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Chatfield Center for the Arts, 405 Main St. S, Chatfield.

Artaria will be joined by guest cellist Norm Fischer, from the Stringwood Chamber Music Festival being held in Lanesboro.

Artaria String Quartet, now based in the Twin Cities, was founded 32 years ago in Boston.

The quartet has performed at major festivals around the world, including the Festival de L’Epau in France, and Tanglewood in Massachusetts.

In addition to Beethoven string quartets, the concert will feature Giovanni Sollima’s “Viaggio in Italia.”
