Join St. Mark's for community supper

St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, 110 S. Oak St., Lake City, will again be serving community supper on July 10. Our suppers are always on the second Wednesday of the month, and serving always starts at 5 p.m. and ends at 6:30 p.m. Everyone in the community is welcome to attend.

Our menu for July will be pulled pork sandwiches with Oriental cabbage salad, marinated vegetable salad, watermelon, baked beans, desserts and beverages. We are across from Patton Park on S. Oak Street — the church with the historic red door.

The Lake City Girl Scouts are always there to help prepare food, serve our guests, and clean up to earn their community service badges.

Coleen Fowler will entertain with piano selections from World War II and other patriotic tunes and ballads from the 1940s. If you have any preference, please let Coleen know when you arrive so she can add it to her choices. Sing along is permitted! She will take conversation breaks about every 15 minutes.
