Chabad-Lubavitch, a Jewish education and hospitality center, will host a Community Friday Night Dinner starting at 6 p.m. Friday at Chabad, 730 Second St. SW, Rochester, with services and a children's program.

The event will include music including the traditional but contemporary "Kabbalat Shabbat," Welcoming the Sabbath Prayer, as well as the delicacies of Shabbat.

"I have always enjoyed the beautiful atmosphere of a Shabbat dinner," said Rabbi Shloime Greene. "Having this opportunity to share it with the community and my children is exciting."

Singer Nelson Gruszczynski will lend his voice as "Chazzan" and learning the service.

No prior knowledge, affiliation or membership is necessary.
