Get Connected is made available to nonprofit agencies in our region to post volunteer opportunities. This tool allows individuals to view these volunteer opportunities. As a mentor you will introduce your mentee to a healthy lifestyle through physical activities. If you like sports, running, biking, hiking, geo-caching or just enjoy being active, you will make a great mentor! Mentors spend 2-4 hours a week in a mix of one on one activities with their youth and at group events put on by Bolder Options staff. You will not be doing it alone - our staff will guide you through a curriculum addressing all of these areas and you will have all the support and tools you need to be successful. Email scott.robinson@bolderoptions.org or call 507-993-0554 for more information or to volunteer with Bolder Options Rochester.

We are seeking suitable volunteers to add to our existing Board. RIA is a well-established organization incorporated in 1982 but with its origins dating back to 1976 and bicentennial celebrations. It is perhaps best known for the World Festival event, which is one of the longest running annual celebrations of diversity and culture in the city. We are seeking to recruit a number of additional Board members, ideally from our ethnic communities, to continue the work of the organization. Email brian.faloon@ria-minnesota.org or call 507-316 3114 for more information or to volunteer with Rochester International Association.
