United Way of Olmsted County promotes volunteerism in southeastern Minnesota through our Get Connected online tool. Get Connected is made available to nonprofit agencies in our region to post volunteer opportunities. This tool allows individuals to view these volunteer opportunities. Go to volunteer.uwolmsted.org for more information or call 507-287-1533.

We are looking for individuals who want to help accept, process, and price donations. Volunteers will greet and assist donors with unloading donations from their vehicle. You will also clean and price donations, preparing them for the sales floor. All training is done on site. Email volunteer@rochesterrestore.org or call 507-252-0849 for more information or to volunteer with Two Rivers Habitat for Humanity.

Our mission is to serve families of children or adults with special needs. A sidewalker walks beside the client. They interact directly with the client and really "get to know" the people we serve. It is fun to watch a child grow and mature through the weeks they are riding the horse. A sidewalker has the opportunity to continually increase their effect on the rider, helping them to follow directions, to sit straighter, and to smile bigger. The sidewalker is the key to our success! Email promisedmeadows@gmail.com or call 507-271-8908 for more information or to volunteer with RideAbility.

Volunteers will answer the phone, do copying, some light typing, and other office duties. As a volunteer you provide needed support for our Home Health Care and Hospice teams as they care for people in their time of need. You may set your own hours. We provide complete training, ongoing support, and a caring place to be a vital part of a health care team. Email mwuehler@interimhealthcare.com or call 507-686-0321 for more information or to volunteer with Interim Health Care.
