ZUMBROTA — The State Theatre in Zumbrota will be a busy place this weekend, with concerts planned on Friday and Saturday nights.

Storyhill, a folk duo making their first tour in three years, will perform at 7:30 p.m. Friday. Storyhill is Montana natives Chris Cunningham and John Hermanson, were have just released a live album, “Stages.”

Tickets are $24 in advance, $28 at the door.

Beverly “Guitar” Watkins, who has been playing the blues for 50 years, will perform at 7:30 p.m. Saturday. Watkins’ career began when, as a teen, she opened shows for James Brown and Ray Charles. She has since toured internationally with her band, the R.D. Olson Band, and is a fixture at blues concerts and at legendary blues clubs.

Tickets are $28 in advance, $32 at the door.
