Missed this week's Americana Showcase in Rochester? You've got a second chance to catch visiting musician Jeffrey Foucaulttonight in Owatonna. Foucault, a native Cheesehead now from New England, plays music influenced by John Prine, Bob Dylan, Neil Young and Greg Brown. Brandon Sampson and John Wheeler join in. A ring to it

It's Med City Marathonweekend, and if you're not a runner, there's still plenty to keep you breathless, including an after-party Sunday night in Rochester's Mayo Park, with music by Pop Rocks. Sight unseen

Lake City's reclusive sea monster, the legendary Pepie, is the inspiration for a day's worth of activities on Sunday. The first Pepie Festincludes a telling of the legend, a variety of river cruises and a challenge — spot Pepie and win $50,000. Live music, food, drinks and games. Memorial salute

The area will include a variety of events Monday for Memorial Day. Chief among them is a gun salute by Civil War re-enactors in Wasioja. That's at 11 a.m. at Dodge County Seminary Park.
