LANESBORO — Feeling mellow? If not, you'll get in the mood with renditions of "Mellow Yellow," "Yellow Submarine" and "Chiquita Banana" as the " Over the Back Fence" variety show celebrates the color yellow Friday at the St. Mane Theatre, 206 Parkway Ave. N, Lanesboro.
The show, hosted by Damon Prestemon, includes skits, jokes, trivia, music and surprises. Friday's show features the RavensFire Band, with traditional Irish folk songs. The band recently returned from a tour of Ireland.
Showtime is 7:30 p.m Doors open at 7 p.m., with pre-show music by the mother-daughter piano-vocal duo of Naomi Karstadand Miranda Kettlewellat 7:10 p.m.
Tickets are $8, available online at www.lanesboroarts.org , at the Lanesboro Arts gallery, 103 Parkway Ave. N, and at the door starting at 6:30 p.m.
This is the 22nd season of "Over the Back Fence," which is presented the second Friday of each month from March through November.
