ZUMBROTA — The Zumbro River Art Splash , which invites visitors to tour local art studios and galleries, will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
Sites are primarily in Zumbrota, as well as in the Mazeppa and Pine Island areas. Some sites, including the Zumbrota Public Library and Zumbrota City Hall, will have multiple artists displaying their work. A map and guide are available at zaac.org .
Also in Zumbrota this weekend, the Art on Main reception and art auctionwill be held from 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. Friday at the VFW hall, 25 E. First St. Original art and banners that were displayed on Main Street will be auctioned off. There will also be live music by the CBB Jazz Combo and refreshments. Tickets are $18 in advance at Crossings, LUYA and Wild Ginger, or $20 at the door. All proceeds go to the renovation of the State Theatre.
