RUSHFORD — The Rushford Area Society for the Arts will hold a hot dish cook-off March 12 to raise funds for a summer production of the musical "Annie," and promote the upcoming production of "How to Talk Minnesota."
Contestants are welcome to enter a hot dish or jello salad. All ages are welcome. A cookbook of the entries will be produced and offered for sale.
The event will be held at 12:30 p.m. in the basement of Rushford Lutheran Church, 101 S. Mill St. Admission is a free will donation.
Recipes should be sent to B. Heimgartner, 28300 Aspen Road, Rushford, MN 55971, or sent via email to bjh0153@yahoo.com. Entries are due by Feb. 27. Judging will be done by an independent panel of church basement ladies.
