LANESBORO — Singer-songwriter Johnsmith will make the trek across the Mississippi River from his home in Wisconsin to perform at 7:30 p.m. May 5 at the St. Mane Theatre , 206 Parkway Ave. N, Lanesboro.
Johnsmith, often referred to as "Wordsmith" by his fans, is a former Kerrville New Folk Festival winner, and has performed at coffee houses, festivals and house concerts across the country for 30 years. He lives in Trempealeau, Wis. His latest CD is "The Longing Road," featuring 14 original songs of folk, bluegrass, Americana and the blues.
