The Mantorville Art Guild is hosting an open show from Aug. 31 to Sept. 27, with a special Artists Open House on Sept. 25-26 and an Artists Reception on the Sept. 25 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Artists may submit up to three pieces related to the show's theme, Nature and Animals, with an entry fee of $10 per work submitted. All media formats are welcome, but works must be juried and submitted by the artist who created them to appear in the show. Works may be submitted electronically, via mail or in person until Aug. 1 at 4 p.m. Each submission should include the artist's name, business name, title, media, size and price, if the work is available for sale. Works must stay on display for the full run of the show, and there is a 35 percent commission on any sales during the show.
