RED WING — The Minnesota Opera will complete a three-week residency in Red Wing with performances of "Opera's Greatest Hits" Oct. 25 and 26 at the Sheldon Theatre , 443 W. Third St.
Minnesota Opera teaching artist Bergen Baker has been working with Red Wing High School students, who are preparing to work alongside adult community members and artists from the Minnesota Opera company.
The performances will also feature the Cannon Valley Regional Orchestra, the Red Wing Singers, the Red Wing High School Chorus and the Shattuck-St. Mary's School Chorus from Faribault. Selections will include overtures, arias and ensembles from Mozart, Verdi, Bizet, Bernstein and others.
"Opera's Greatest Hits" will be presented at 7 p.m. Oct. 25 and 2 p.m. Oct. 26. Tickets are $14 for adults, $9.50 for students; 651-388-8700.
