WELCH — They'll try again Saturday to host music by the Cannon Falls Community Band at the Welch Station Access site on the Cannon Valley Trail.
The music event was originally scheduled for last Saturday but was postponed due to flooding that closed the trail between Welch and Red Wing. Barring further heavy rains, the trail is expected to be open this weekend.
The band will play from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Watermelon will be served. The Cannon Valley Trail runs along the Cannon River from Red Wing to Cannon Falls.
