The next production in the Metropolitan Opera live broadcasts is "Falstaff," which will be shown at 11:55 a.m. Saturday at the Hollywood 12 cinema, 2171 Superior Drive N.W., Rochester.
The live broadcasts of the matinee performances come direct from New York City. Contrary to earlier reports, rebroadcasts of the productions are not being shown on Wednesdays at the Hollywood 12.
Coming up in the series after Jan. 1 are Metropolitan Opera broadcasts of "Rusalka" Feb. 8, "Prince Igor" March 1, "Werther" March 15, "La Boheme" April 5, "Cosi fan Tutte" April 26, and "La Cenerentola" May 10.
