WINONA — "The Hired Girl Gets Married,"a play about the early days of Winona, will be presented on Saturdays and Sundays through Aug. 2 at the historic Bunnell House, south of Winona.
The play, written by Lynn Nankiviland performed by Theatre du Mississippi , steps back to 1856, as the Bunnell family prepares for a wedding. Performances are at 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. There will be no performances on Saturday, July 4.
Tickets are $10, or $8 for members of the Winona County Historical Society . For reservations, call 507-454-2723.
The Bunnell House is located at 36106 Old Homer Road, just off U.S. 61.
