ZUMBROTA — A reception for an exhibition of prayer flagsin the Tibetan tradition will be held from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday at Crossings at Carnegie , 320 East Ave., Zumbrota.
Works by artists Marillee Carroll, Cathy Whiteand Beth Baconare featured in the exhibit, which continues through Feb. 13. Prayer flags are traditionally hung in the new year to symbolize wishes for peace, wisdom, compassion, love and prosperity.
At the reception, the artists will talk about their work, and visitors will have the opportunity to create prayer flags of their own ($5 materials fee).
