Lisa Lampanelli, the comic known as the Queen of Mean, will perform at 8 p.m. May 11 at Mayo Civic Center in Rochester.
Lampanelli is probably best known for her cutting remarks on Comedy Central celebrity roasts, where she mixes vulgarity with one-liners. She has also written a book, "Chocolate, Please: My Adventures in Food, Fat and Freaks."
Tickets are $45 and go on sale at 10 a.m. March 15 at the Civic Center box office (no service fee), and through Ticketmaster at Walmart in Rochester or by phone at 800-745-3000. The concert is intended for mature audiences.
