RED WING — A '50s dance party, featuring a tribute to Buddy Holly, will be held at 7 p.m. Feb. 2 at the National Guard Armory in Red Wing.
The event is a fundraiser for the Friends of the Sheldon Theatre . Jimmy Stanley, from the Bee Gees tribute band Stayin' Alive, will portray Buddy Holly. He will be backed by Don Gaalaas, Ben Manning, George Snyder and David Watson as the Red Wing Crickets. Music by other early rock 'n' roll stars will also be performed.
