WINONA — Winona's Glorious Glass Tour, a self-guided tour of stained glass windows in the city, will be held from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., April 16.
Sites on the tour include St. Mary Chapel of the Angels, St. Stanislaus Basilica, Merchants Bank, Winona National Bank, Central Lutheran Church, First Congregational Church and others. The Winona County History Center will also feature a display. The tour highlights how stained glass windows are not only works of art, but also represent the history of the area.
Tickets are $15 for the general public, $12 for members of the Winona County Historical Society, available at the history center (map included), 160 Johnson St.; 507-454-2723.
