Ballet will perform 'Dracula'

Tickets are now available for two performances of "Dracula" by the Metropolitan Ballet, Oct. 8-9 at Mayo Civic Center in Rochester.

"Dracula" was conceived by Erik J. Sanborn, artistic director of the Twin Cities-based Metropolitan Ballet, and explores both the true story of Prince Vlad Tepes (Dracula) and the character of Dracula as depicted in the Bram Stoker novel.

Performances are at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 8 and 3 p.m. Oct. 9. Tickets are $25 for adults, $20 for seniors and $15 for youth and students. Tickets are available at the Mayo Civic Center box office (no service fee), and through Ticketmaster at Wal-mart North, online at www.ticketmaster.com, and by phone at (800) 745-3000.
