Rochester Friends of the Minneapolis Institute of Arts will sponsor a bus trip to Minneapolis Jan. 12 to attend a lecture and take a guided tour of spiritual art.
The lecture, "Between the Sacred and Profane: The Angels of Caravaggio," is by Steven Ostrow, chair of the department of art history at the University of Minnesota. Following lunch, the Rochester group will view art related to religious and spiritual beliefs in western and non-western cultures.
