Rochester Friends of the Minneapolis Institute of Art are offering a bus trip to Minneapolis April 14 to attend a lecture and tour a new exhibit.
The lecture, "Titian's Innovations as a Portraitist," is by Joanna Woods-Marsden, professor of Italian Renaissance art at UCLA. Following lunch, the Rochester group will have a guided tour of the new exhibit, "Titian and the Golden Age of Venetian Painting." The exhibit features 25 masterpieces of Venetian Renaissance from the National Galleries of Scotland.
The bus leaves at 8:30 a.m. from the Ramada Hotel, 1517 16th St. S.W., Rochester. Cost is $25 for Friends members, $30 for non-members. For reservations, call Nancy Brubaker at 288-1093.
