July 31 is Rochester Day at Shakespeare festival

WINONA — Rochester Day at the Great River Shakespeare Festival will feature the best of the arts, with theater, art, music and food, beginning at 10 a.m. July 31.

There will be three plays on Rochester Day, including "The Comedy of Errors," "Titus Andronicus," and "Othello." The Minnesota Marine Art Museum, 800 Riverview Drive, will be open all day, and there will be a free concert with Rochester blues artists at 6:30 p.m.

The morning will kick off at the Acoustic Cafe, 77 Lafayette St., with coffee and a meet-and-greet with the GRSF cast and crew. There will also be a picnic dinner served on the Winona State University Green from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
