Up-and-coming bluesman Trent Romens, who at a tender age has already performed alongside some of the stars of the Twin Cities blues scene, will perform Friday at Kathy's Pub, 307 S. Broadway, Rochester.
Romens began playing guitar at age 11, which is when he discovered the blues, and by 13 was playing on stage. He has just released his debut CD, "Aware."
He will be backed at Kathy's by John Wright on bass, Toby Marshall on organ and Jordan Carlson on drums.
