The Rochester band The Morning Kings will play its danceable mix of alternative rock songs Friday at Kathy's Pub, 307 S. Broadway in Rochester.
The band is made up of Cameron Smith on drums and vocals, Justin Bourassa on lead guitar, Andrew Conrad on guitar and vocals, Drew Barbes on vocals and guitar, Kyle Truex on bass and vocals.
Together they play a blend of cover songs by Sublime, Jack Johnson, the Beatles, Tom Petty and others, as well as original songs. The band is also able to switch between performing acoustic concerts or full band sets that could include saxophone, three guitars, bass and drums.
Music starts at 8 p.m. and goes until 2 a.m. No cover.
