WINONA — A documentary film, "Becoming Santa," will be shown Saturday morning at Winona State University.
The film follows filmmaker Jack Sanderson as he transformed himself into Santa Claus and fully immerses himself in the Santa culture for the Christmas season. He appears in a Christmas parade and rings a bell on a New York street corner.
Sanderson will be at the screening to talk about the film.
The film will be shown at 10:30 a.m. in the Science Lab Atrium at Winona State. There is a suggested donation of $5 to benefit the National Child Protection Training Center.
The screening is sponsored by the Frozen River Film Festival and the Great River Shakespeare Festival.
