ALTURA — "Campfire-Jam-A-Long," a bluegrass jam session, will be hosted by naturalist Sara Grover Friday at Whitewater State Park.
Grover, herself a bluegrass musician, often combines music with her naturalist programs. On this occasion, the focus will be entirely on music. Interested musicians are welcome to participate. Visitors and campers who intend to be in the audience should bring lawn chairs.
The jam session is from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. around the campfire at the park visitor center. The program is free, but a state park vehicle sticker is required for entry to the park. A daily pass is $5.
