A newly revitalized Contemporary Connectionsseries at the Rochester Art Center debuts Thursday night.
The laid-back series of Thursday happy hours is designed to connect the museum to the community, especially young professionals.
From 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, there will be a "Holiday Happy Hour,"with music by DJ Ace,themed cocktails and seasonal refreshments. From 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., visitors will have an opportunity to view the newly opened "Debris Field"exhibition by Chad Rutterand talk with the artist. The exhibition is the latest in the Third Floor Emerging Artists Series at the art center.
