Happy 100th Birthday!
Dorthy Ellis was born in 1910. She was raised in the Chatfield area. She married Dan O'Brien in 1934. They had two children named Thomas and James. She worked for many years at Masseys Department store. She raised miniature white poodles and loved working in her garden. She also liked to make crafts.
She has resided at Madonna Towers since 2001.
Dorthy also has four grandchildren, Tammy Evans, Heather O'Brien, Kathy O'Brien and Christine O'Brien; and five great-grandchildren, Brandon and Jeremy Evans, Jacob and Marshall Burrato, and Seamus Tignor.
There will be an open house with cake and coffee at Madonna Towers in the towers dining room on June 3 from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. It will be hosted by her sons, Tom and Jim.
