Minnesota's own Ruby the Dog will attend a book-signing event at 1 p.m. Saturday at Barnes & Noble in the Apache Mall.
Penned by Patrick Bettendorf, Ruby's owner, the book chronicles Ruby's multifaceted life, from being abandoned to becoming a service dog, a veteran of stage plays and a celebrity in her own rite.
Released this past September, her book, " Ruby's Tale ," has been enthusiastically embraced by readers and critics alike. It was recently announced that the book is a finalist in Foreward Magazine's Book of the Year awards.
Paw printed and personalized signed copies will be available at the signing.
