JM to present 'Shrek the Musical'

John Marshall High School will present "Shrek the Musical" Thursday through Saturday at the school.

Performances are at 7 p.m. each day. In addition, there is a free preview performance for senior citizens at noon Wednesday.

John Marshall is the first high school in the area to perform the musical, according to Eric Decker, theater director. The students had a major hand in putting the show together. "Costumes were hemmed and fitted, lights and sound were designed and make-up patterns were made, all by students," Decker said.

The play is based on the Oscar-winning film.

Tickets are $10 for adults, $8 for students and senior citizens, available at the door or by phone at 507-285-8696.
