Tickets go on sale today for a performance by comedian Lewis Black at 8 p.m. Sept. 24 at Mayo Civic Center Presentation Hall.
Black, who first achieved national recognition with his appearances on "The Daily Show," has released eight comedy albums, including "The Carnegie Hall Performance," which won a Grammy Award in 2007. He is also the author of three best-selling books, including "I'm Dreaming of a Black Christmas."
Tickets are $60.50 and $40.50, available at the civic center box office (no service fee), and through Ticketmaster online, by phone at 800-745-3000 and at Rochester Walmart stores.
