A staged reading of the Commonweal Theatreproduction of "The Elephant Man," will be presented at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 26 at Mayo Clinic.
The play, which was a part of the 2017 season at the Commonweal, features Brandt Roberts in the title role.
"The Elephant Man" is about John Merrick, who was born with a genetic disease that left him horribly disfigured.
The play delves into science and medicine and explores concepts of beauty.
The play will be presented in Geffen Auditorium on the subway level of Mayo’s Gonda Building.
