The newly formed Odelia Trio is presenting programs in Rochester elementary schools as part of the Minnesota Public Radio Class Notes series.
The trio, which is based in Rochester, consists of Horacio Nuguid on piano, Kathleen Lamb on violin and Rachael Ryan Dahlgren on cello. The Class Notes performances are supplemented by curriculum materials distributed by MPR to classroom teachers. In addition, students receive a CD featuring performances by the artists.
The Odelia Trio performed last Friday at Ben Franklin Elementary and will perform over the next week at Churchill, Hoover, Longfellow and Sunset Terrace elementary schools. The performances are not open to the public.
