The producers of the 50+ PrimeTime Living Expo are holding auditions for the Twin Cities’ best senior talent contest, "50+ Strut Your Stuff."
The show was held for the first time last year, and producers reported impressive results. "Everyone in the finals was amazing," said pianist and vocalist John Ward, last year’s winner. "It's great networking. I met some other musicians who I still get together with regularly."
The contest is open to all Minnesota residents who reached their 50th birthday by Aug. 1. Only amateurs may enter. Finalists will perform during the fall 50+ PrimeTime Living Expo on Oct. 4-5 at Mystic Lake Casino Hotel. Prizes will be awarded to the top three finishers. The winner will receive airfare for two to any Sun Country Airlines destination.
