Discounted pre-sale food and drink tickets to the inaugural A Taste of Rochester happening Sept. 17 at Soldier’s Field Memorial park will be available at the Thursdays on First and Third downtown market next week.
The event features local restaurants with $1-$4 food tastes, beer, wine, water and Coke products.
There will also be live music, a Family Fun Zone with multiple appearances by Scooby Doo, a veterans ceremony, unveiling of the University of Minnesota Rochester's mascot and more.
The event is free to attend. Advance discount tickets will be available at 12 for $10 at the First Avenue Stage at Thursday’s on First and Third next week and at both stages Sept. 1.
