"Remarkable Life Stories" is the theme of the University of Minnesota–Rochester's weekly lecture series, UMR Connects, during July.
On Tuesday, Sara Tesfai, of the Center for Victims of Torture, will speak on Restoring the Dignity of the Human Spirit. The Center works to heal torture survivors and to build a world future free from torture. Her speech begins at 7 p.m. on the Peace Plaza.
