Tipsheet: '38' special

"Dakota 38," a documentary film about a modern-day response to the hanging of 38 Dakota Indians in Mankato in 1862, will be shown Sunday at the Rochester Public Library. The film showing, part of Native American Month, starts at 2 p.m. It's sponsored by the Greater Rochester Area Dakota Supporters and a handful of other local and state groups. Admission is free. A facilitated discussion follows the film. The library is at 101 Second St. S.E.
