Considered one of the greatest books ever written, George Eliot's "Middlemarch" will be presented in a 24-hour marathon reading starting at 9 a.m. Wednesday at Carleton College in Northfield. The reading will take place on the north balcony of the Sayles Hill Campus Center, where people will take turns in 30-minute shifts. Come and go as you like; admission is free.
