Hight & Randall , Personal Jeweler is celebrating its new location and look.
The new showroom has a new 1920s and 1930s art deco theme with unique chandeliers, a linear fireplace, Saranthony original artwork and a coffee bar that could be ready by the grand opening, said owner Barbara Hight-Randall. The former showroom downtown had a 1880s theme.
The larger store also has a variety of new jewelry, including Sarah's Hope, a company out of Madison that donates 10 percent of purchases to fund micro loans to women in need and uses the women's stories to inspire its designs, Hight-Randall said.
The fan-shaped Beverly pendents, for example, are named for a bridal boutique owner who is a survivor of domestic abuse.
Hight-Randall will also give back by offering 20 percent off the Sarah's Hope line from the day after Thanksgiving until Christmas Eve and donating 20 percent of the sales to the Salvation Army, she said.
