White Knight

A white knight wears armor

To save the day

He’ll face the troubles unafraid

The knight will plead loyal and true

He will follow a code of chivalry

He will defend his leader

With his life

And may give his for hers

These are the white knights we hear about

In fairytales

But they never told us about

The real ones

We could have in real life

Those knights will be our friend

Until the end

They are the ones you can escape to

When you feel alone

And without a friend

They are your shoulder to cry on

And a friend to hold

They won’t give their life for yours

But they will defend it

As if their life depended on it

They are there to comfort you for anything

These are the real knights

That we are too blind to notice

Until we need them.
