Lucille L. Carson, 92, died Wednesday, Aug. 10, 2011, at Pine Haven Care Center in Pine Island.
Lucille was born in Hammond, on June 1, 1919, to Fred and Ella (Dosdall) Dittmar. She married Vernon Carson on Sept. 28, 1938, in Cresco, Iowa.
Lucille enjoyed reading, doing crossword puzzles, watching TV and playing bingo. She also enjoyed shopping, traveling, playing the organ and riding motorcycle. She especially loved spending time with her family.
Lucille is survived by six children, David Carson, of Rochester, Elaine Davidson, of Rochester, Michael (Margie) Carson, of Rochester, Barbara Finke, of St. Cloud, Carol (Brian) Denny, of Douglas and Bruce (Jeanne) Carson, of Rochester; 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. Lucille is preceded in death by her husband, Vernon, her parents, a daughter, Marge, two brothers, Milton and Arvin, and five infant children.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 13, 2011, at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Home, in Rochester.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 12, 2001, at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Home, and an hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Entombment will take place at Grandview Memorial Gardens in Rochester.
