Mayo Field (Rochester Honkers)
403 East Center St.
For Honkers games at Mayo Field, there are two good options. Bob Yanish, a box seat season ticket holder, always returns to Section D, row 2, seats 1 and 2, behind home plate. High-fives from Slider, conversation with Mayor Brede, and excellent service are just a few of his reasons. Dan Cansino, a long-time fan and “deck enthusiast,” prefers the sports deck, out on the left field line, for every game. “Basically, it’s the party deck,” he says. “If you’re into the game, but social, it’s the best seat.” At $30 for all you can eat and drink, the party deck may be the best happy hour in town. And you get to watch baseball.
