How we met: The two were classmates at Whitworth University. They took a class together in 2006 but didn't really talk until 2009 when they both returned from study abroad trips and had a conversation about their travels. They exchanged letters while Justin attended Marine Corps training over the summer, and officially began dating in fall 2009.
