• Profiles on Austin’s two mayoral candidates in Thursday’s Austin Post-Bulletin included inaccurate information about their educational backgrounds. The educational background listed in candidate Tom Stiehm’s profile was the background for candidate Norm Hecimovich. Hecimovich’s education includes a bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Bemidji State University; educational specialist from Mankato State University; and post-graduate work from the University of Minnesota. Stiehm spent three years in college, attending the University of WIsconsin-Waukesha, Austin Community College and Mankato State University.

• Sheriffs Youth Programs of Minnesota relocated its central office out of Austin in 1996. The wrong year was given in a story Wednesday in some editions.
