Saturday, Sept. 29
• About 1:20 a.m., police arrested nine people for underage drinking in the 600 block of 12th Street Southwest. One person also was arrested for obstructing the legal process and was detained in jail.
• Police arrested a person in Mapleview for giving false information to a police officer and four out-of-county warrants.

• An officer spoke with someone about a possibly fake identification in the 100 block of Second Avenue Northeast.
• Police responded to a report of people causing property damage in the 800 block of Eighth Avenue Northwest.

• About 10:05 p.m., police helped an intoxicated man to his residence in the 1300 block of Fourth Avenue Northwest after he fell in the street.
• A fight was reported about 10:40 p.m. in the 1300 block of 11th Avenue Northwest. The suspect was gone when police arrived.
• About 10:50 p.m., someone reported property being done in the 1900 block of Fourth Avenue Northeast. Officers were unable to find the suspects.
• An officer checked about 11:50 p.m. for reported property damage and trespassing in the 1900 block of Fifth Avenue Northeast.

• About 1:50 a.m., a hit-and-run collision was reported in the 900 block of Second Avenue Southwest.
• Police responded to a report about 3 a.m. of gunshots heard near Marcusen Park. It was determined to be fireworks.
• Officers responded about 3:10 a.m. for a group of people fighting in the 1100 block of Fourth Street Southeast. They were warned for noise.
• About 4:20 a.m., someone reported a domestic assault and burglary in the 700 block of First Avenue Southwest.
• A deputy responded to a report of cattle in the roadway near LeRoy Township.
• Someone reported a theft in Mapleview.
• A deputy was called to check on people trespassing in Austin Township.
• About 10:45 p.m., authorities arrested a person for driving while impaired after stopping a vehicle for going the wrong way on Interstate 90.
• Police arrested a person for driving while impaired in the 100 block of Fourth Avenue Northeast.
• About 2:30 a.m., police arrested a person for driving while impaired in the 1500 block of Oakland Avenue West. The passenger was arrested for underage drinking.
• Police arrested a person for possessing illegal drugs in the 200 block of Third Avenue Southeast.
• About 5:25 a.m., police arrested a person for driving while impaired in the 1000 block of Second Avenue Northwest.
• Officers responded to a person who was sleeping against a residence in the 1400 block of Fifth Avenue Northeast. The person was given a ride home.
• Two vehicles collided without anyone being injured in the 300 block of Oakland Avenue West.
• Police arrested a person for driving while impaired in the 100 block of 11th Street Northeast.
• Officers checked for a suspicious vehicle in the 1400 block of Fourth Street Northwest.
• About 8:05 p.m., police responded to a report of a disorderly man in the 1200 block of Oakland Place Southeast. Officers advised the man of the complaint.
Monday, Oct. 1
• About 12:05 a.m., deputies, Austin firefighters and Austin Utilities responded to a gas-leak report at City Limit Apartments.
• Police arrested a man about 12:45 a.m. for driving while impaired and driving left of center in the 200 block of North Main Street. He was placed in jail.
• Property damage to a vehicle was reported about 1:10 a.m. in the 1400 block of 11th Avenue Northwest.
• Police took a report of damage to a vehicle about 7:40 a.m. in the 1400 block of 11th Avenue Northwest. Another property damage report was taken about the same time in that block.
• Officers checked on a report of kids hanging around a vacant home in the 200 block of Sixth Street Northwest. No one was around when police arrived.
• About 12:10 p.m., someone reported gas leaking from a vehicle at Casey’s General Store.
• Someone reported a theft about 3:45 p.m. at the Riverland dorms.

• About 1:55 a.m., a theft was reported in the 400 block of Second Street Southeast.
