What are the top three issues facing the city? Flood mitigation, economic development and the jail/justice center.

How do you propose to address those issues? I’d work to continue flood-mitigation efforts. If passed, sales tax will enable us to easily fund it. I’d encourage council to create a "one-stop shop" to streamline efforts by private and public sectors to create business and jobs.

What kind of leadership is required for this position? Understanding issues facing the city with the ability and willingness to listen to all parties involved, and then making a decision that is in the best interest of the city and its residents.
