Despite the cancellation of a memorial service at the Soldiers Field Veterans Memorial, Ed Garris of Rochester braves the wind and rain Tuesday to commemorate veterans, including his uncle, Edward Romeo, who died while serving in World War II. "I’m here to carry on the memory," he said. "He paid the ultimate price. This (weather) is nice compared to what they went through for our freedom."
